Barbara Wexler is our in-house marketing expert.  Her extensive network of contacts and knowledge in several clinical areas enable her to quickly assess the viability of medical technologies and develop strategies for market entry and expansion. 


She has authored ten reference textbooks and more than 30 contributions to Thomson/Gale publications including the Encyclopedia of Cancer and the Encyclopedia of Nursing and Allied Health and Prentice-Hall and Glencoe-McGraw-Hill texts.  She has written 20 consumer books and booklets and contributed chapters to 11 medical and allied health textbooks.  She has provided content and served as developmental editor for 16 texts and seven educational books for consumers.  She is the principal writer for electronic media on topics ranging from cardiology and neoplastic diseases to the epidemiology of obesity, medical ethics and evidence-based integrative medicine. She has also prepared more than 200 medical, surgical, psychiatric and long-term care clinical practice guidelines and treatment algorithms for private and public organizations. She also assists companies navigate the regulatory process including writing regulatory filings and IND’s.


Barbara Wexler is a key consultant to biotechnology companies, hospitals, payers and other organizations.  She brings more than 25 years of experience as a medical writer, chronic disease epidemiologist, clinician, and specialist in healthcare product development and strategic marketing communications.  Barbara is a graduate of Yale University College of Medicine, School of Public Health.
