We specialize in assessing the fundamentals of a business and only invest in companies that demonstrate an ability to bring a product to market within 12 to 18 months and target an exit within 3 to 4 years.  We believe that a series of successful exits at nominal multiples of invested capital within a shorter time period represents as good as, or in some cases, a better shareholder return than one or two significant exits at 50 to 100 times on invested capital over a longer period of time.

We understand how to minimize investment risk.  We know how to realistically assess a market, the product development plan, and business/revenue model.  Our team that includes an advisor and consultant to the FDA, knows and understands the potential regulatory hurdles of a product as well.  We can measure within a significant degree of certainty whether a company will be successful in the medical device sector before we make an investment.

Our team consists of past executive and partner-level experience at major venture capital and investments firms including MDS Capital (previously the world’s largest healthcare venture capital company), Royal Bank Capital Partners, SoftBank Life Sciences Equity Management and Singapore Bio-Innovations.  Personal IRR’s of our fund management team are 25 to 35%.
